Production Planning
Production planning begins with an analysis of the product design, particularly with regard to manufacturability and production costs. This is a step-by-step process carried out in close coordination with your product development team. It also involves defining critical features for your product.
Starting with the product design, I work closely with you to define the individual manufacturing steps and the specific requirements for each. This then forms the basis for the actual production planning.
The goal of production planning is to develop a comprehensive production concept for optimizing or restructuring your manufacturing operations. This includes, among other things:
- Process flowchart
- Capacity planning (equipment, personnel)
- Material flowchart
- Packaging concept for incoming and outgoing goods
- Production layout
- Process FMEA
- Quality concept
- Requirement specifications for individual production processes
- Market research for potential equipment suppliers
- Investment cost estimation
- IT concept
