Industrialisation
Starting with a production concept, I plan all the detailed steps required to move from the concept to a stable production run. This is a complex task, as experience has shown that there are numerous hurdles to overcome: new manufacturing processes, material shortages during plant commissioning, poor supplier performance, unresolved interfaces, the parallel development of products and manufacturing processes, and much more.
Once the planning phase is complete, the actual industrialization process begins. Here, I can draw on my knowledge and experience to support you with all the issues that, in my experience, tend to tie up a lot of resources:
- Detailing of concepts and specifications
- Requesting quotes from potential suppliers and coordinating technical details
- Monitoring project progress
- Coordination between your departments (Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Logistics)
- Defining and clarifying interfaces
- Resolving material-related issues
- Supplier management (scheduling, monitoring project progress, preparing for acceptance testing, support during plant commissioning)
- Preparation for and support during acceptance testing
- Support for ramp-up at your site
