I have been working at the interface of technology, production and IT for more than three decades. As a qualified engineer in information technology, I have over 33 years of experience in special machine construction, industrialization and the production of complex electronic components – especially in the automotive and telecommunications industries.

My professional focus is on the conception, development and implementation of highly automated production lines – from the initial idea through system planning to successful commissioning and series release. During this time, I was responsible for numerous large-scale international projects, including for customers such as BMW, Daimler, Volkswagen and General Motors.

As a long-standing Lead Expert in Automation Engineering at LEONI Wiring Systems, I have helped set up entire production sites, expanded manufacturing capacities internationally and industrialized new technologies for future-oriented electrical and battery systems. I was always responsible for the entire project life cycle: from the economic analysis, supplier selection and budget responsibility to the technical implementation and process and quality approval with the customer.

In addition to the technology, the focus for me was always on people and the process. I led interdisciplinary teams, coordinated international locations and acted as a contact between development, quality, IT, logistics and production. A structured, analytical and quality-oriented way of working is just as natural to me as clear communication and reliable decisions.

With my advice, I would like to support companies in optimization of production, implementing complex production and automation projects safely, economically and in a sustainable manner – from the early concept phase through industrialization to the optimization of existing manufacturing processes. My aim is to develop technically sound solutions that work in practice and create measurable added value.
